Amanda & Paul: Garden Party wedding at keeler tavern

I cannot say the words ‘Garden Wedding’ without thinking of that episode from The Office where Dwight throws a “Garden Party” for Andy. You know the one where Jim pranks him by writing a book about how to throw a garden party and Dwight actually buys the book and puts the “expert tips” to use.

Those tips were not used on this particular day, but one does hope to experience such an event. As luck would have it, we had the most beautiful wedding day with Amanda & Paul at the Keeler Tavern in Ridgefield, CT.

One of the things we love about garden weddings is the natural beauty surrounding us. You don't need much decoration when Mother Nature has already provided us with so much splendor. A simple, elegant ceremony setup can be all it takes to create a truly magical atmosphere.

But of course, the real magic comes from the couple themselves. I've seen so many touching moments during garden weddings - the way the groom's eyes light up as he cherishes his bride, the tears of joy as they exchange vows, and the excitement as their guests take in all the beauty. It's impossible not to feel the love and happiness radiating from so many sources, the guests, the couple, the universe embracing them.

As a wedding photographer, I feel so lucky to be able to capture these moments of joy and beauty. Garden weddings in New England are truly special, and I can't wait to see what kind of magic we have ahead of us!

Now imagine Dwight announcing my goodbye, “Mrs. Jules Ehlert"!” :) But honestly, please don’t refer to me as Mrs. . . . it makes me feel old!
