Winter Indoor wedding at the loading dock

We have never been to a wedding at The Loading Dock in Stamford, CT where we weren’t filled with beautiful scents all day long. This venue encapsulates the scents of the florals and the food from the kitchen all day long. It’s clean and fresh and without a doubt welcoming to your party.

On this fine day in February we were blessed with the sun as the crisp winter air greeted us. The couple exchanged private vows before the ceremony, with tears and love and sentiment only lovers share. The ceremony itself was a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity. The couple stood under a chuppah adorned with flowers and exchanged heartfelt promises as their family surrounded them.

Even more magic happened at the reception. The party was off the charts. The dance floor was packed from the moment the first notes of the band hit, and guests boogied the night away. The couple themselves were the life of the party, twirling and dancing with each other to the delight of their friends and family.

One of my very favorite photos was taken this day, as the bride waited to walk down the aisle. The one where it’s all hands on deck holding her veil and train from up off the floor, you are cared for at this venue every step of the way.

Cheers to winter weddings, they can be romantic and epic even without snow.
