Sweet wedding at Smith farm gardens

Our hearts were stolen as we drove up the rode to the secluded Smith Farm Gardens. An oasis in the middle of New England, with large lawns to frolick in, trees to tuck away for romance, and a chic farmhouse destined to make a core memory in your heart.

Our day photographing Alyssa & Joe was full of so much joy it’s hard to forget. The connection between the bride and her sister made me miss my own. I felt so grateful being around their families and friends that it didn’t seem at all like that was the first time we had met.

That October day Mother Nature was feeling gloomy, but there was sunshine in all of our hearts.

At Smith Farm you have options, and when it rains your back up plan looks and feels just as warm and welcoming as the outdoor options. We love that about a venue, and think it’s important to consider when planning an all outdoor event. Luckily for us this day, we were able to stick to plan A and it fit perfectly with their ceremony and knot tying and more. They had ample help from friends and family in a mostly DIY wedding.

So, I’ll hush now, because I just let you a whole bunch of steamy gushy wedding day talk. And that’s okay, we’re more than just people who snap a photo, we soak in all the emotion and use it in our work.
