Wendy

Sensuality knows no size, this I truly believe . . . and if we can get over the societal stereotypes of what makes a woman innately beautiful then we can all benefit from the confidence that radiates from within a woman who truly embraces and loves herself . . . no matter her size, shape or inner state of being.

One of the hardest parts of a professional photo session is what to wear. Will there be client closet? And if so, will they have my size? And if it is my size, will it even look good on me? Whether you wear a flowing gown that hugs your curves in all the right places or a skimpy lingerie set that allows your body to do the talking, choosing outfits that make you feel confident is paramount.

For my session with Wendy I hand selected her wardrobe. . . and we raved about how wonderful each piece felt. I love how we went from sexy and modest, to sexy in an obvious way all the while amplifying this woman with sophistication and sensuality.

I truly believe that a boudoir session is empowering but it is not ME who is doing the empowering . . . it is actually YOU. I am creating a space and an encouraging and welcoming and safe environment for you to come alive and let the empowerment that is already within you come to the surface.

Your worth is not determined by your size and despite the reasons many people think women do boudoir photoshoots, the main reason women of all sizes do them is to honor their bodies in a healthy, liberating and meaningful way.

We must show up to love every curve, every imperfection and every facet of our unique beauty. When our body is exactly how we want it to look or feel AND when it isn’t. Truth is, our bodies change constantly, and there is so much more to loving ourselves than the number on our scale.

I look forward to photographing more plus size women, and to give all shapes and sizes a place where their presence can be seen, heard and preserved.
