Mystic, CT Engagement in Winter

Mystic, CT is one of those quintessential New England coastal towns. When Meredith and Aaron wanted to do their engagement photos here so they could also scope out the area for their rehearsal dinner I was delighted. It wasn’t the typical summer day where the sun fills you up to your brim with summer breeze, but that’s not what they wanted.

In fact, being hot was the opposite of their vibe, they wanted brisk and somewhat cuddly adventures where they could walk around and see the town. There’s magic in making your engagement session exactly what you want. No timelines to be tracked, no food getting cold if your ceremony runs long, no bridesmaids forgetting their shoes or groomsmen their ties. Just the two of you! Together with your photographer, who most likely is falling in love with love all over again while getting to know you.
